Kate Claire

Kate Claire is the owner stylist of Hair by Kate Claire and works from the studio in St. Louis Park. She is based in the Twin Cities area and has worked in the hair industry for over a decade, moving into full-time hairstyling after stepping away from a journalism degree.

Her focus is dimensional color, styling and cuts, along with undone updos, soft waves and polished bridal styles. She has been doing makeup and specialty hair for bridal clients for as long as she has worked in the industry, and she finds the work most rewarding when clients leave feeling more confident.

She is certified in both hand-tied and tape-in hair extensions and is working toward a marketing degree at the University of Minnesota. In appointments she gives styling tips in the small studio without a crowd.
