Kassie Pruneda

Kassie Pruneda is a nurse practitioner and aesthetic nurse injector. Her degrees include a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology with an emphasis in forensics from Texas State University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Texas Health Science Center, and a Master of Science in Nursing as a family nurse practitioner from University of Texas Medical Branch, completed summa cum laude. She first worked as a trauma nurse and forensic nurse examiner at Memorial Hermann Healthcare System, then moved to the emergency department at Harris Health System, where she was promoted to Clinical Resource Nurse and received multiple awards for leadership and nursing excellence. After completing her master's, she moved into functional medicine and aesthetics. She leads training and development for several medical spa practices, guest lectures at Texas A&M University, and works with the Texas Office of the Attorney General. She trains young nurses at the National Laser Institute and has taken part in national and international trainings, conferences and cadaver labs. She belongs to several professional bodies: the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the International Association of Forensic Nurses, and the American Med Spa Association.
