Kasandra Wylin, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Kasandra Wylin, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, serves as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse on the provider team at North Tex MedCare Clinic and Urgent Care. She brings more than 20 years of experience across healthcare settings. She started out as a paramedic, working in the field for 15 years before training as a nurse. Her background spans pre-hospital medicine, Level 1 Trauma Centers, home health, wound care and infusions.

She holds active nursing licenses in Michigan, Ohio, Colorado, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, California, Florida, Hawaii and New York. Her clinical interests include family medicine, urgent care, wound care, and COVID prevention and treatment. She sees patients of every age, from toddlers to older adults.

She explains disease processes so patients can follow what is happening with their health, and she decides on next steps together with them. Care is adjusted to each patient's own needs and circumstances, with attention to parental autonomy and informed consent.
