Karla Cabrera

Karla Cabrera is the nurse practitioner and founder of Bella Medical Spa in Tempe. She holds RN, BSN and MSN-FNP-C credentials and is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She has worked as a nurse practitioner since 2018, with about 16 years in nursing and 8 years of aesthetic injecting. Over the past six years as an aesthetic nurse practitioner, she has treated facial trauma. She also serves as medical director for several medical spas in Arizona and founded Bella Advanced Aesthetics Training and has educated medical providers in aesthetics since 2019.

She trained at Chamberlain College of Nursing and completed a master's degree in the family nurse practitioner program. She has attended multiple advanced injectables trainings in Arizona and California and has trained nationally and internationally to perform more than 101 non-surgical procedures. Allergan certified her to complete Botox for migraines, and she has specialized training in Botox and Jeuveau since 2018. She also completed training and certification in MINT Lifting PDO threads and smooth PDO threads.

Her specialties include facial balancing, which she is the only provider at the business to perform, along with scar removal, facial trauma repair and lip filler in many styles. She uses Jeuveau, Botox, Sculptra, PDO threads and fillers to address asymmetry caused by muscle or fat loss and some skin conditions. She performs VI Peel chemical peels, PRP under-eye injections and microneedling. She is fully bilingual in English and Spanish and is listed as a top 10 AZ bilingual trainer and medical director by The Needle Artist. She supervises the semaglutide weight loss program, including lab review and prescribing, and offers private injector training.
