About
Karla Altonen works as a nurse injector at Uptown Medispa. She is a registered nurse who earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University, and she also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Arizona State University. After nursing school, she worked at a high-acuity outpatient clinic.
Her injectable training includes a certification in Cosmetic Injectables from the Edunn Institute for Aesthetic Advancement. She also trained through an apprenticeship with Uptown Medispa owner Kristen Hansen.
Outside the treatment room, she is passionate about sharing her knowledge with the Spanish-speaking community.
