Karissa Martinez

Karissa Martinez works at Salon Guru, with about two decades in the beauty industry. She built her career in the Millburn and Short Hills area. Her services include blowouts, styling and root touch-ups done with non-toxic products, plus custom color, keratin treatments (organic keratin is one option for hair that is smoother and healthier), and cutting. She also fits hair extensions by keratin fusion, I-tip, tape-in, V-light and weft methods. Her training began at Vidal Sassoon Academy in California after beauty school, followed by study with Toni & Guy and other industry educators in New York City. Her certifications cover Great Lengths, Aqua, Hair Locs, Hair Talk, Dream Catchers, Hot Heads and V-Light extensions.
