Karen Roberts owns Karen's Designs and works as a hairstylist and colorist. She began her career in 1981 and has been a licensed Texas cosmetologist since 1983, after obtaining her cosmetology license while still attending Aldine High School.
Hair color is her specialty. Over more than four decades in the beauty field she has seen hair styles move from vintage and retro looks to modern and contemporary ones.
