Karen Brost

Karen Brost is the aesthetician at aPeel Skin Spa, where she is a licensed aesthetician and carries the credentials L.E. and C.O.E. She graduated from The Institute of Beauty & Wellness in 2003 and has more than two decades of experience as a skin care professional.

She has advanced training in chemical peels, hydrodermabrasion, microdermabrasion and microneedling, and specialized training in oncology aesthetics. She also has training in caring for sensitive or reactive skin and education on how autoimmune conditions can affect the skin. She has worked for many years alongside cosmetic and plastic surgeons, including in Milwaukee. She is a member of the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists, Associated Skin Care Professionals, the International Society for Oncology Aesthetics and Aesthetics International Association.

Her focus includes chemical peels, which she has performed for over 20 years, including gentle lactic and mandelic peels as well as more advanced options. She also works with microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, facials and advanced skin treatments, and she works with clients whose skin is sensitive, reactive or changing, including clients affected by cancer treatment. For some of these clients she uses Hale & Hush products.
