About
Kara Heston runs Nano Esthetics, where she works as a licensed esthetician focused on permanent makeup and lash services. She holds an active cosmetology license from Robert Paul Academy and a cosmetology degree. Beyond that license, she has completed more than 20 classes and certifications in lashes, brows, permanent makeup and skin care. These include brow shaping, Skin Script, Li-FT saline removal and Dermalogica training. Eight of her permanent makeup courses were completed through Lauren Taylor, Na Seng, Girlz Ink Training and Moore Beauty Academy. Early in her career she worked with large beauty and skin care brands and built her clientele through Ulta and Sephora. She chose service over commission work and won't recommend products that don't fit a client's goals. Her approach rests on the idea that most skin care results come from the at-home routine, with professional treatments supporting it. Some clients have been with her for more than a decade, and others for eight years or longer.
