Kara Gunderson

Kara Gunderson is a stylist at The Hair District Collective's St. Louis Park location, where she has worked since 2022. She has been a professional since 1989 and graduated from Horst International Center in August 1989.

Earlier, she spent 13.5 years at Tom Schmidt, Urban Retreat and Pagoda in Uptown, and 19 years at Salon 71 in Edina. She specializes in blonde foils, all-over color and chemical work. Her services include haircuts for existing clients only, color, highlights and lowlights, and permanent waves. She focuses on finding the right color and maintenance for each client.
