Kaniz is a henna artist at Silk & Stone, offering bridal henna under the name Bridal Henna by Kaniz as well as henna parties and guest henna. She has been doing henna for more than 30 years. Her designs draw on floral, geometric, Arabic, Indian, boho and nature-inspired motifs, and her bridal work blends South Asian, Middle Eastern and contemporary influences. Initials, symbols and motifs chosen by the client can be built into bridal designs.
She works quickly on groups of guests, welcomes first-time henna clients, and works with children using gentle designs suited to their age. Full bridal designs for hands and feet take about three to six hours.
