About
Kamilah Crawford is the owner and an esthetician at Serenity Skin Care Spa in Oakland. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Michigan and went on to train at Paris Beauty College in Concord, California. Her esthetician license was received in 2002.
Earlier, she worked at Looking Glass Plastic Surgery under Dr. Jeffrey DeWeese, providing skin care to cosmetic and burn patients, and she also provided skin care to patients from the Saint Francis Memorial Bothin Burn Center in San Francisco. She is certified in Thai massage after training at the Thailand Massage School of Chiang Mai in 2013.
Starting in 2017, she has been contracted with five dermatologists at Dermatology of the East Bay to provide chemical peels and hydrafacials. Her work there and her earlier experience with physicians inform her focus on chemical peels, hydrafacials and treatment of skin conditions.
