Kami Lynn Brown

Kami Lynn Brown co-founded Electric Mascara. She has more than 20 years of experience behind the chair. Her career began at Tony&Guy Hair School in Dallas, Texas, where she also trained, and she has since worked in Dallas, Atlanta and Savannah, Georgia, before settling in Charleston, South Carolina. She continues her education with The Left Brain Group.

She has also worked with leading brands in educator and trainer roles, and she has taught at salons and become a lead educator. Her cutting work spans precision and razor cuts, textured cuts, shags, mullets, avant garde looks, transformations and hand fading. She paints hair and works in lived-in color, grey blending and personalized color.

She teaches one-on-one and small group classes for up-and-coming and seasoned stylists. Class content covers consultations, a customized curriculum, hands-on work with live models, and business topics like boundary-setting and pricing work. She also offers mentor sessions for personal and professional growth.
