Kalizya is the owner stylist at Hair by Kalizya. She began a career in New York City, where she worked at Paul Labrecque salons. She has styled celebrities including Sting and Helen Hunt, along with media personalities at CNBC and MSNBC, and her work has been featured on Entertainment Tonight.
She moved to Washington, DC in 2010 and joined Ted Gibson Salon. She later worked at David Rios Salon in Georgetown, where she built a loyal clientele. Her event work includes Mark Ingram Bridal Atelier and Jenny Lee Bridal Week.
