Kalina Sazonova

Kalina Sazonova works as a hair artist, colorist and celebrity stylist, and also as a platform artist and educator. She works with women and men across fashion, beauty, entertainment and other industries, with celebrities, models, beauty insiders, professionals and artists among her clients.

Before moving to Los Angeles from Moscow in 2016, she spent six years at the Mone beauty company, progressing from hairdresser to Global Creative Director and Head of Mone Academy. She has trained at Vidal Sassoon and SACO in London, Pivot Point in Moscow and the US, Patric Cameron in London, Bjorn Axen in Stockholm and Peter Ochs in Paris.

Her work includes fashion color, grooming and wedding styling. Event credits include Miss Universal, Miss Russia, Trend Vision Wella, Volvo Fashion Week and Mercedes Fashion Week, and she has appeared on First Channel shows 'Fashionable Judgment' and 'Take that off immediately'. She took part in the Alternative Hair Show in Moscow, created images for the Wella EIMI book in Russia, and was one of eight hairstyling professionals chosen from across Europe for a focus group on a hair repair product for P&G (Wella Professional) in Frankfurt.

Her collections have been published in Vogue, Hair's, Estetica, You Professional and Mone. Other projects include a special collection for Mone at the Redken studio on Fifth Avenue in New York, the Transformation project in Los Angeles, an image for an Italy Vogue cover, and a music video shoot for Russian celebrity Olga Buzova.
