Julio Mayo

Julio Mayo works as a Haircut Master and Color Specialist. He began his career in 1996. He worked in various hair salons and beauty studios in Cuba before moving to the United States, and he opened his own salon in 2001. From 2006 he spent six years with MSC Cruises as a full-service hairstylist, beginning with Ocean View Monaco. From 2013 he provided consulting and training in hair and beauty for an Italian corporation serving the cruise industry. He also worked as a television image consultant offering beauty advice, and with Telemundo during the Miss Latina Universo 2014 beauty pageant. He has taught hairstyling professionals as a professor. In 2016 he joined Danny Jelaca Salon in Miami Beach as a Master Stylist and Colorist. He later opened his own business at Salon Lofts Miami Beach in 2026. His clients have included celebrities, artists, sophisticated clients and VIP cruise guests, and he speaks Spanish, Italian and English.
