Julie Russell

Julie Russell is the owner, operator and proprietor of A Visual Impact Hair Studio, which she has run for 25 years. She is a master colorist and has been a licensed cosmetologist for 37 years, with over 25 years of experience in the field. Her training came from The American School of Cosmetology, and she holds Missouri licenses for hair, skin and nails. She also has skin care and makeup experience.

Her career includes four years as district manager and hair show coordinator for Tressa, Inc., and 25 years on the Tressa Professionals Education Team. She works mainly with Tressa professional chemicals and knows other brands well.

Her specialties are permanent waves and texture reformation, corrective coloring, strategic color placement and conditioning restoration. She also handles men's haircutting and beard grooming, and blends gray for a natural look. She is in the salon Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, by appointment only.
