Julie Phaxay

Julie Phaxay works as a microblading and cosmetic tattoo artist at Haven Beauty Collective in Minnetonka. She has worked as a professional makeup artist for over 16 years, with credits that include magazine covers, red carpet events, high-pressure photo shoots, Vogue editorials, Target national campaigns and Saturday Night Live. She has spent 10 years working as a celebrity makeup artist, and she has worked with clients including Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Michelle Williams, Nicole Scherzinger, Yara Shahidi and Prince. Her work has been featured in Rolling Stone, Billboard, Good Morning America and Saturday Night Live, and she is one of Minnesota's leading brow artists.

She trained at the PhiBrows Academy and has formal training in design. Her focus is nano brows, microblading, powder brows and brow tattooing, and she also offers laser tattoo removal. She works with clients who are correcting older work, starting fresh or wanting a color boost, and many of her clients want natural, low-maintenance brows that look right in person as well as in photos.

Julie teaches the apprenticeship in cosmetic tattooing, covering mapping, stroke flow and client communication.
