Julie Lorenzo

Julie Lorenzo founded Jewels x Aesthetics and performs the treatments there. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, with credentials listed as MSN, APRN and FNP-BC, and has more than ten years of experience in aesthetic medicine. Early in her career she worked as a trauma nurse.

She trained at the University of Miami, where she earned a Master of Science in Nursing, and has advanced training in injectables, facial anatomy and skin health. She keeps up hands-on education in aesthetic medicine and also works as an aesthetic trainer and educator.

Her work centers on neuromodulators, dermal fillers, filler dissolving, facial balancing and microneedling-based hair restoration. She opens with a conversation and a look at the whole face, then proposes a plan. With neuromodulators she takes a conservative approach, aiming for refined results rather than using as much product as possible, and she favors subtle enhancement that keeps natural movement. Most patients want to look rested and feel assured in photos, not turn into someone else.

For filler dissolving, she looks at past filler work when possible and advises on full versus selective dissolving. For hair restoration, she weighs hair density, scalp health and long-term goals before deciding if the treatment fits, and she sets expectations that are realistic, centered on long-term facial harmony.
