Julie Gorden

Julie Gorden owns JG Second Act Hair Salon and works as its hairstylist. She has been a hairstylist for more than 20 years, and spent over 23 years at a high-end salon before founding her own business.

She graduated from Columbus College of Art & Design in 2000 and went on to attend cosmetology school. Her training includes French cutting, color theory and newer color application techniques, as well as customizing treatments, in-depth consultations and product recommendations.

She focuses on one client at a time in the suite and begins with a one-on-one consultation before any hair service. One client review credits her with listening to what clients want and knowing what their hair needs, and describes her color knowledge as helpful.
