About
Julia Savitskaya is a freelance session stylist and educator. She holds a cosmetology license received in Dallas, Texas in 2009 and trained at Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy in Dallas. She worked with Toni & Guy until the end of 2019, in managerial roles and in education across the salon and the academies. She was part of the Toni & Guy Art Team and sat on the TG Artistic and Education Team from 2013 to 2015.
Her specialties are cutting, styling, colour and extensions. She was a finalist in the men's hair category of the Toni & Guy photographic awards. Her work has been published in print and online magazines, including MUZE, LOCALE and Desnudo Magazine Italia.
Beyond the salon chair, she has worked on film, runway and live events, including fashion week shows in New York and London and events such as OC Fashion Week, DIFFA and David's Bridal Showcase. In 2016 she provided hairstyling for private events for Paula Abdul and Paramore. She also assists on session work and curates hair for her own photography.
