Julia Jowett

Julia Jowett, MSHS, PA-C, is a nationally certified Physician Associate and co-founder of Lumora Medical Aesthetics in Encinitas. She carries out treatments at the practice under the medical direction and supervision of Christopher Snell, MD. She has more than 13 years in aesthetic medicine and has performed thousands of aesthetic treatments over the past decade. Her education includes a Master of Science in Health Sciences and Physician Assistant Studies from The George Washington University, finished in 2012, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The University of Georgia, finished in 2007. Her training included work under plastic surgeons and dermatologists, cadaver anatomy labs centred on injectable safety, aesthetic medicine conferences, and one-on-one mentorships with leaders in the industry. She aims for natural-looking results and subtle enhancements, and prioritises long-term relationships with patients as she learns what they want to achieve. She also writes the practice's blog posts on aesthetic treatments and skin care.
