About
Jules runs Jules on Foot, where she works as owner, stylist and colorist. She started out at a Paul Mitchell focus salon while still in college, answering phones and cleaning floors. She then apprenticed for two years with Joanna Wentworth, an owner and Paul Mitchell Master Associate, and received her license in 2000 when that apprenticeship ended. During the apprenticeship she worked toward becoming a National Educator for Paul Mitchell Systems. Next came three years in California, first as an assistant and later as a stylist for JPMS's Global Artistic Director. Back in New York City, she held master stylist and education director roles at two JPMS Focus Salons. She now works as a National Educator for JPMS, teaching cutting and coloring at salons across the city and at hair shows. After 18 years in the industry, she left salon work and opened Jules on Foot on January 1, 2017.
