Judith S. Pluviose

Judith S. Pluviose founded Beautélanin® and works as a New York State licensed esthetician. She practiced law for years before moving into skincare. She studied formulation, attended esthetics school, and is a certified skincare formulator.

Her work begins with gathering evidence and the client's history before drawing conclusions about the skin. Her focus areas are melanin-rich skin science, professional education and critique of the beauty industry. She works as an educator and accepts invitations to speak at classrooms, conferences, panels, podcasts and workshops.
