Judith Rubin

Judith Rubin founded Nuvo Med and serves as its Medical Director. She has more than 30 years of clinical experience, including more than 30 years of joint injection work and over 20 years in aesthetic medicine. Her career includes roles as a physician, medical director and practice owner in California, Florida and Washington. Earlier, she worked as a clinical trial coordinator at National Institutes of Health institutes, including the National Eye Institute and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

She earned a Doctor of Medicine from the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn, then completed an OB/GYN internship at NYU Langone Hospital, Long Island, and a family practice residency at the University of California Davis, Martinez Program. Her later advanced training covers lasers, injectables, fillers, ultrasound guided joint injections, regenerative medicine and wellness medicine.

Her focus areas are facial rejuvenation and injectables, personalized aesthetic treatment planning, and regenerative medicine using stem cells and exosomes. She also works in wellness and healthy aging support, hormone optimization and women's health. Her view is that aesthetic work should enhance confidence in a natural way and that wellness care should be individualized, evidence-based and centered on the patient. Patients often mention her willingness to listen, to consider the wider picture and to recommend treatments that suit them.
