Judimar Sosa is a medical doctor and surgeon who focuses on medical aesthetics and anti-aging medicine. She has practiced medicine since 2008, when she graduated from the Universidad de Oriente with cum laude honors, and she has more than 12 years in aesthetic and anti-aging medicine and has treated more than 1,500 patients. She holds a master's in medical aesthetics from the Universidad de las Islas Baleares in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, earned in 2012, and a diploma in anti-aging medicine completed in Caracas, Venezuela, in 2015. She holds national and international certifications in non-surgical aesthetic procedures. Her interest in aesthetic health began in 2011. While starting her practice in Venezuela she worked as an emergency resident at a private clinic, opened The White Orchid aesthetic medical center in Lechería, Anzoátegui, in 2013, and in 2015 worked as a medical spa physician aboard a cruise ship, performing neurotoxin and hyaluronic acid filler treatments. She moved to Houston in 2017 and became an independent Rodan + Fields skincare consultant in August 2019. In Texas she is a certified esthetician, certified since 2020, and a licensed certified senior technician in laser hair removal, licensed in 2023. She also holds a medical assistant license from 2019 and a phlebotomy technician license from 2020. She founded JS Aesthetics & Antiaging Specialist in 2020, after a little over two years working in a med spa alongside a private practice. She treats dark spots on the face, aging skin, juvenile and adult acne, sensitivity, laxity and biological aging. Since 2020 she has taught in-person and virtual trainings for other aesthetic professionals, drawing on more than 12 years of practice.
