About
JTheHairchitect owns the salon and works as a hairstylist and licensed cosmetologist. Training was completed at Capri Pivot Point in Oak Forest, Illinois, with graduation in 2008. Earlier work included Take One and Cut on Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago, several salons in the Chicago suburbs, and a salon in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2011.
The stylist works with both women and men, and is known for wig units and hair extensions, including guidance on closures and wefted hair.
The stylist holds that great hair starts with a solid base. An aim is to remove the idea that some hair is good and some is bad. Some clients are taken to clinical labs so hair scientists can inspect their scalps.
