Joy Williams

Joy Williams is a Los Angeles-based hairstylist and beauty expert at the Silver Lake location, where her hourly rate is $195. With more than twenty years in the industry, she is known for texture work aimed at keeping natural and multi-textured hair healthy. She is certified in several hair extension techniques and handles customization, cutting and coloring for extensions. She served as Lead Stylist for Miss Universe in 2019 and was a three-time Miss USA Key Stylist between 2019 and 2021. In 2023 she was the hair and makeup sponsor for Miss Black USA, and she has both led and contributed to hair and makeup teams at New York Fashion Week. Her beauty writing has appeared in O Magazine, Cosmopolitan and American Salon. Services include precision cuts, custom color and styling for natural and multi-textured hair, and elevated styling for bridal, pageant and special occasions. She is especially drawn to pixie and clipper cuts, bleach and tones, and bold highlights and vivids, though vivids are not offered on curly hair. She does not offer color correction, shags, mullets, creative cuts or braids.
