Joy is an owner, stylist and educator at the salon. She holds a Bellami Hair certification. Her training includes Skyline Cosmetology, the Hair Play assistant program, an Ashley Norman coloring class and Jacob Khan advanced cutting classes. She has also trained in Toni & Guy precision cutting and coloring, Bumble & Bumble, Redken Color, Aveda color and styling, Label M styling, Kevin Murphy styling, Schwarzkopf coloring, Pulp Riot, Pravana, Guy Tang Color and Kenra Color.
She has worked at Hair Play in San Francisco, and at Sweetgrass Salon and Jacob K Hair in Atlanta. She educates clients on caring for their hair after appointments.
