Joshua Genuth

Joshua Genuth is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Bergen Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He holds a Doctor of Dental Medicine and a Doctor of Medicine, and he is certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He received that certification in March 2026. He began his education with a Bachelor of Science in biology from Yeshiva University, graduating magna cum laude. His dental degree is from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and his medical degree from the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. His surgical training took place across NYU Langone Health, Bellevue Hospital Center, Veterans Affairs NY Harbor Healthcare and NYU College of Dentistry, and included a one-year general surgery internship. In his final year he was Executive Chief Resident, supervising oral and maxillofacial surgery and general practice residents. Clinical focus areas include outpatient sedation, wisdom tooth extraction, dental implants, jaw-correcting orthognathic surgery, facial trauma, and pathology of the oral and maxillofacial region. He also trained in 3D printing and custom virtual surgical planning. He was named Employee of the Month at Bellevue Hospital Center, an award it ties to how well he helps patients feel comfortable and at ease.
