About
Josh McRae trained at Carsten's Beauty School in Tempe, Arizona, then joined Mane Attraction in Phoenix. At the salon he studied precision cutting techniques from Vidal Sassoon under Kendal Ong. Once he completed the salon's hair program, he was made head cutting instructor and trained new stylists there. He also worked on salon makeovers for Channel 12 News.
In 2007 he took courses in advanced cutting and salon business management at the Bumble and Bumble academy in New York. He later completed razor cutting training at Nick Arrojo's New York studio, and razor cutting is among his specialties.
He opened Salon Joshua in the East Valley in 2008.
