Joseph Tamburrino

Dr. Tamburrino owns Tamburrino Plastic Surgery & Med Spa in Doylestown, where he works as a board-certified plastic surgeon. He has more than 20 years of experience in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery and has performed over 10,000 procedures. Before opening his own boutique practice, he left an academic career path and turned down offers from larger city practices. He earned his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University, and a master's degree in biochemistry from the same university. His bachelor's degree in chemistry is from Temple University. He completed a general surgery residency at Temple University Hospital and a plastic surgery residency at Cleveland Clinic Florida. He also completed two fellowships, one in aesthetic surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital and Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital in New York, and one in reconstructive microsurgery at UCLA. He is double board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He ranks in the top 7% of plastic surgeons nationally for advanced specialization of this depth. He has co-authored four peer-reviewed publications on microsurgery, breast reconstruction, BRCA1 transcription and gastric carcinoma, which have been cited more than 390 times. He has been an invited speaker at the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery and the Florida Society of Plastic Surgery. His clinical interests include the deep-plane facelift, breast augmentation, tummy tuck, liposuction, mommy makeover, BOTOX and dermal fillers, and laser skin resurfacing. The practice offers both surgical and nonsurgical aesthetic treatments, and the nonsurgical treatments are performed under his supervision. His results are exceptional.
