Joseph J. Thornton, MD

Joseph J. Thornton, MD is a board certified plastic surgeon at Thornton Plastic Surgery, where he is called Dr. Joseph Thornton on the practice's site. He came to Delaware in 2007 and has served patients in Northern Delaware, and more recently in Southern Delaware and Cecil County.

He earned his medical doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed a plastic surgery residency at Albany Medical Center from 2001 to 2007. He holds a bachelor's degree from Haverford College. He was board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 2008 and takes part in its maintenance of certification program.
