Jose Batistine

Jose Batistine is the founder and owner of JBLUVpro. He has been styling hair since age 13 and has more than 30 years of industry experience. He has also worked as a stylist on Newbury Street.

His training includes study under global educators and mentorship from Nicholas French, Hiroshi, Ted Gibson in New York, Robert Cromeans on the West Coast and Eric Fisher. He was personally certified by Mrs. Yuko in New York in the re-conditioning straightening system and holds a certification as a Yuko hair straightening master. He also has corporate-level business training related to the hair industry.

He specializes in Brazilian blowouts and appears as a platform artist in live demos. His creative work includes fantasy hair, wardrobe, high fashion and high-end costume design. His hair designs have been featured at a Google executive event, he has done editorial cover shoots in New York, Miami and Boston, and he has worked backstage at numerous runway events. He designed a fantasy costume look for Justina Valentine for a music video. He was nominated for Latina Magazine's Top Ten Latino Hairstylists in the Country.

He created the 12 Company Fundamentals Training Program, which covers leadership, mentoring, skill and business development for staff.
