Joni Brackmann

Joni Brackmann is the owner stylist of Curls By Joni, LLC, which operates at Blush + Ivy Salon in Wheaton. She focuses on curly, wavy and coily hair, including Curl by Curl cuts, and cuts for children, men and adults. She has worked in the hair industry for 43 years.

Her curl training began with a first DevaCurl class in 2006, where she learned the curl by curl method. In 2017 she earned Devacurl Level 3 Certification at Deva Academy in SoHo, Manhattan, and that same year she trained with Curly Hair Artistry at Oasis Salon in Rockville, Maryland. She has also trained with BlackGirlCurls in Cut it Kinky Live at Scene Salon in Dallas, Texas.

She is listed in the Devacurl and Curly Hair Artistry stylist locators and in A Master Curlist Directory on moisturesalon.com. In her sessions she works to help clients get to know their own waves, curls and coils and build confidence with them.
