About
Jonathan Johnson, MD, MBA, founded Capital Aesthetic in Washington, DC, and serves as its surgical director, overseeing both the Laser Suite and the Surgical Suite. He has been practicing since 2010 and has more than 15 years in aesthetic medicine, body contouring and reconstructive procedures.
His training started in general surgery and continued with the Sylvester J. Carter Fellowship in Hand and Plastic Surgery at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, which is affiliated with Cornell University. He also earned an MBA from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. He is board certified as a cosmetic surgeon and holds the CWSP and FAPWCA credentials, the latter including Professional Fellow status with the American Professional Wound Care Association.
His clinical focus is body contouring, including liposuction, fat transfer and body contouring surgery. He holds an advanced liposuction certification from the American Academy of Cosmetic Medicine, and another from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery.
