John Tedesco, D.O.

John Tedesco, D.O., serves as the surgeon at Green Country Surgical Arts, a cosmetic surgery practice in Tulsa. Earlier he served as chief surgical resident in 2007-2008 and again in 2008-2009, was voted Chief of Staff at McAlester Regional Medical Center, and worked as lead physician and Director of Incident Command for the COVID-19 response. He graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed general surgical training at Largo Medical Center in the Tampa Bay area, and finished a cosmetic surgery fellowship at English Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Center in Little Rock, Arkansas, where he performed at least 300 cosmetic procedures during training. Cosmetic surgery is his specialty across face, breast, body and skin procedures. He performs breast surgery, body surgery, facial surgery and skin cancer surgery, which covers removal of basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and melanoma. After skin cancer removal he rebuilds facial defects, repairs defects left by other surgeons and revises scars from earlier skin cancer surgery, aiming for the smallest wound possible. For breast procedures he reviews the best mastectomy option with each patient. He treats patients seeking excellence, privacy and safety. He presented at the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery's 30th Annual Scientific Meeting in January 2014 and co-authored a 2026 scoping review on radiofrequency microneedling and surgical facelifts in JMIR Dermatology. He is also named to Oklahoma Magazine Best Doctors 2026.
