John Havens Cary

He is a board-certified dermatologist in New York City who has joined Reszko Dermatology. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with High Honors and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa before training at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine. His research fellowship took place at the University of California San Francisco, where he worked with Dr. Howard Maibach, and his dermatology residency was at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn. His clinical interests include acne, rosacea, alopecia and other hair disorders, skin cancer, laser therapy, and psoriasis and other inflammatory skin conditions. He has published more than 20 peer-reviewed research articles and textbook chapters and serves as chief editor of Rosacea (Updates in Clinical Dermatology). He is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology.
