John E. Vine, M.D.

Dermatologist John E. Vine, M.D., owns his private practice, which offers both medical and cosmetic dermatology. He is a Mohs surgeon and skin cancer specialist who performs Mohs micrographic surgery, and he has provided patient care since 1997, treating all skin types. He graduated with honors from Princeton University and completed a residency at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center at the University of Texas. He then trained through a fellowship in Mohs and dermatologic surgery at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California, where he gained extensive hands-on experience with lasers and other cosmetic dermatologic procedures. From 1997 to 2001 he directed Mohs and dermatologic surgery at UMDNJ/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He is now a staff physician at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center. He has lectured and published on skin cancer and cosmetic procedures. He belongs to three dermatology societies, including the American College of Mohs Surgery. For facial peel treatments he uses Jan Marini peels. Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. has named him a Top Dermatologist since 2004, and he was also voted Best Dermatologist in a local vote.
