About
John is a master hairstylist and colorist. He began working as a hairstylist in Colombia, moved to Miami in 1994, and started working with Samy Salon in 1997, where he spent many years. He has also worked with salons in Coral Gables, South Miami, Brickell, Downtown Miami and South Beach.
Before becoming a hairstylist he studied textile engineering and fashion design for three and a half years. His work has included Despierta America on Univision, Fashion Week of the Americas, Ocean Drive's Fashion Week, international TV, videos, photoshoots and celebrity clients.
He specializes in all types of hair color techniques, with a particular focus on ombre and balayage. His other specialties include cuts, Botox for hair, stem cell treatments, highlights and baby highlights, and he works on hair extensions and body waves.
