Johanna Samsel is a Platinum Designer at Spa in The Valley, where she has been for 16 years. She has worked as a stylist for more than 30 years. She trained at The Maryland Beauty Academy and then apprenticed at the Edward Amato salon. Her specialties include color, highlights, balayage, ombre, cutting and keratin treatments. Her advanced training covers Wella, Goldwell, Aveda, Framesi, Alterna and L'Oreal, and she spent over 10 years as a color educator for Framesi and Alterna. She has also apprenticed with two Salon by Debbie stylists. Her Bellami extension certifications cover hand-tied sewn-in weft, tape-in, I-Tip and K-Tip methods.
