JoeMiguel is the owner of JoeMiguel Salon, where he works as creator, artist and educator. He specializes in precision curl cutting and coloring, and he has more than 15 years of experience. He is known as El Rey de los Rizos, or The Curl King, for owning the salon and advocating for natural, textured hair. He holds certifications from Pivot Point, Vidal Sassoon Academy, DevaCurl and Goldwell Education. He teaches courses through the JoeMiguel Academy, where technique and precision are the core of the teaching, and he educates Certified Curl Artists.
