Joel C Ma

Joel C Ma opened the studio in 2015, where he is both founder and owner/director. As a haircut and color artist, he has been styling hair for more than 25 years. He completed hair-cutting master training at Tony & Guy, and he learned the straight razor cutting method from a master who also guided his development in it. He is best known for razor cuts and for an exacting method with long and short layered styles. By 2000, clients were already drawn to his signature razor cut and layering approach. He is recognized as a color specialist and blending artist, and by 2010 he had been acknowledged as a master color creator in that field. He trains every new team member, beginning with the basics and progressing to advanced cutting. He also mentors other stylists and passes along new techniques to them.
