Joe Lee

Joe Lee is the owner stylist at JoeStylist and works as a hair stylist and colorist serving McKinney, Texas and surrounding areas. He spent 13 years as a mechanical drafter before changing careers. He completed beauty school and then began working as a hairstylist, and it took about 18 years to develop his own style. He has completed beauty school and attended hair courses, seminars and many color classes. In 2019 he took a class in New York on reading and adapting fashion trends. He is trained in color theory and in current techniques for cutting and shaping curly hair. He teaches other hairdressers. His focus is color, including highlights, balayage, color correction and low lights, and men's haircuts that blend traditional barbering with modern styling. He also cuts and styles curly hair to bring out natural curls, and curly-haired clients are a focus of his work. He consults with clients before cutting and explains each step.
