Jodi James

Jodi James owns the studio and has worked as a hairstylist since 2012. She specializes in cuts, color and hair extensions, and trained at Paul Mitchell Hair Academy before completing a year-long apprenticeship at a salon in University Park.

Her education has continued through more than 45 classes and workshops. These include cutting classes with Howard McLaren, co-founder and creative director of R&Co, styling and cutting classes with James Pecis, a Vogue stylist and Oribe Global Ambassador, the Front Row Hair Education Festival in Miami hosted by Oribe, a Makeup by Mario masterclass with Mario Dedivanovic, and Front Row 2016, a four-day industry education event in Miami.

Her work has included hair and makeup for a Modern Luxury Magazine segment on health and beauty must-haves, cut and style for Marty Martinez in D Magazine's My Style interviews, and hair and makeup with GoGo Me for the 6th annual Survivors in Style event in Fort Worth.

Clients can expect a thorough consultation to understand their needs and goals, followed by a custom look, whether for a special-event glam or a refresh of a current style. She shares styling tips so results can be recreated at home, values the connection with each client, and is happy to talk through recent Bravo TV happenings during appointments.
