Joanne

Joanne is a hair stylist at Comb & Honey Salon. She has worked in hair since her teenage years and has built a career across Chicago, New York and Los Angeles. Her past work includes Vidal Sassoon in Chicago and Bumble and Bumble in New York, and she has since worked as an educator, done platform work at international hair shows, contributed to magazines and appeared in runway shows.

She focuses her work on women in midlife, and some of her long-standing clients have been with her for more than 20 years. Her specialties include blending or covering grey hair, working with thinning hair, and texture treatments such as the Keratin Smoothing Treatment and the Arrojo American Wave perm. She also has access to grey blend hair extensions and creates a color she calls Nuanced Edge, which sits between natural tones and bold shades.
