Jie Matar

Jie Matar is a Director at McAllister Spa. He was trained in Paris in 1985, has worked in hair for about four decades, and has spent more than 20 years in the industry. Clients most often book him for complete hair transformations. He owned and ran his own salons, JiE Salon, JiE Privé and JiE New York, in Toronto and New York. His work has included the Paris, London, New York, Milan and Toronto Fashion Weeks, and he appeared on the television makeover show Sexy Girl. He is one of three stylists at the salon who specialize in curly and textured hair. His services span haircuts and styling, color, highlights, ombré and balayage, keratin and smoothing, and weddings, events and updos. He sees guests in English, Arabic and French.
