Jerome Obry

Jerome Obry works as a hairstylist at Izzy Salon, where he is one of the salon's hair extension specialists. He advises clients on choosing extensions, having them fitted and keeping them in good condition. He began his career in Paris, first with Alain Divert and then at Jacques Dessange's Paris salon from 1993 to 1996. In 1996 he followed Dessange to the United States, working at the New York City and Washington DC salons and teaching education classes at the Jacques Dessange school academy. He then spent time in Beverly Hills from 1997 to 2001, and from 2001 to 2014 he worked at Bergdorf Goodman in New York City with John Barrett. From 2014 until November 2015 he was Creative Director at the John Barrett salon's Worth Avenue location in Palm Beach. In November 2015 he created and launched the Artistes Group there. On the runway he has shown collections for Christian Dior, Chanel, Christian Lacroix, Givenchy, Yves Saint Laurent and Jean Paul Gaultier. He has also worked on national campaigns, films and television. Clients listed on the site include Paul McCartney, Hillary Clinton, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Paris Hilton and Mandy Moore.
