Jerome H. Liu, MD, MSHS

Jerome H. Liu, MD, MSHS is a board-certified plastic surgeon practicing at SVIA Sacramento, the Sacramento branch of Liu Plastic Surgery. He holds board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery and active membership in the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He co-founded the Silicon Valley Institute for Aesthetics with Dr. Tom Liu, and according to the institute, its aim is to offer patients a higher standard of care.

He earned his undergraduate degree at Brown University and his medical degree at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. His surgical training took place at UCLA Medical Center, covering general surgery and plastic surgery, followed by a plastic surgery fellowship at UCLA. During those years he also completed a master's degree in health services research and received a National Research Service Award grant from the National Institute of Health and the Veterans Administration.
