Jenny Vatter attended Gene Juarez Academy in 1996 and then completed a year-long apprenticeship at Gary Manuel Salon in Seattle. She trained with Vidal Sassoon Master Stylist Ron Matarazzo and Head Colorist Lorane Matarazzo, and in New York at Bumble and Bumble University and Wella Studios. She has also trained with Nick Arrojo, of TLC's What Not To Wear.
